17031 Exposure Head HEAD: unable to learn focus Thermal Before every plot, the focus servo must learn the drum profile. This is done to guarantee that the first swath imaged will be in focus the first time. Cancel the job if possible. Check that the plate does not have any large dents in it. Try another plate, if not successful, call service. Head was not installed properly. Plate not loaded on drum properly. For example, there is a large bulge near the leading edge clamp. The plate is not cut even on the edge detect side. The focus is having to learn on/off the plate. This is not an ideal situation. There are large dents on the plate.
